I am a designer at heart with executive experience and considerable knowledge in building and managing design teams in apparel, textile and home decor genres, that innovate and deliver results across retail and wholesale, both domestically and internationally. The core of my creativity is built upon my hands on experience as a designer, my innate understanding of how products are made and manufactured, and my ability to identify relevant trends that resonate with a brand's core customer.

As a leader in the industry, I have managed, mentored and guided design teams through successful product launches. I have navigated designers through the product development process, from color palette, theme and inspirational process, to product design, development and creation. I am a big picture thinker, utilizing a companies resources to determine and analyze product history, all while being a creative designer at the core, developing a balance meant for success.

 

As a designer, I am committed to creating quality artwork based on my varying background and fashion-based trend research. My focus is on creating trend right, beautifully colored designs that emphasize an attention to detail and love of color. I strive to work with companies who appreciate these qualities, as that will result in a beautiful end product. I seek to offer a unique vision that can be brought directly to the consumer. My passion has always been and will continue to be in creating outstanding, fresh and colorful pattern collections.

 

I have successfully created commissioned designs for Target, Kohls, JC Penney, and Pier 1 Imports. I have also licensed my original designs with Hello Fabric, Bucketfeet, Crown Point Graphics, Bungalow Flooring, My Capital Letters, MET Colors and Certified International. My Bucketfeet designs were featured on a segment of Good Morning America, as one of their top ten selling designs.
